Luxury Chalets in Lech and Zürs
Quiet, polished Arlberg villages with deep snow, discreet service and direct access to Austria's largest connected ski area.
Why Lech and Zürs
Lech and Zürs are the calm, refined side of the Arlberg. The villages are small, the service is discreet, and Lech limits the number of lift tickets sold on busy days to keep the slopes uncrowded. Oberlech, above Lech, is car-free in winter. It is a natural choice for families and for guests who value space and quiet over nightlife.
Skiing in Ski Arlberg
Lech and Zürs are part of Ski Arlberg, Austria’s largest connected ski area, with about 300 km of pistes, 85 lifts and around 200 km of marked off-piste routes. The Flexenbahn gondola links Zürs with St. Anton, so the whole Arlberg is skiable from your chalet.
The signature day is the White Ring, a 22 km circuit through Lech, Zürs, Zug and Oberlech that brings you back to where you started. It is best skied with a guide who knows which section to take at which hour.
Heli-skiing in Lech Zürs
Lech Zürs is the only place in Austria where heli-skiing is officially permitted. Flights land on the Mehlsack (2,652 m) or the Schneetäli (2,450 m), always with a certified mountain guide and only in good weather. Places are confirmed at short notice; our concierge can register your interest in advance.
Beyond the piste
Horse-drawn sleigh rides through Oberlech, cross-country tracks towards Zug and a floodlit toboggan run make good counterweights to a hard ski day. In summer, Lech is a walking and golf destination with cooler air than the valleys below.
Getting there
Innsbruck airport is about 1 hour 30 minutes by car and Zurich about 2 hours 30 minutes. The nearest railway station is Langen am Arlberg. We arrange private transfers from all three.

Can you heli-ski in Austria?
Yes, but only in Lech Zürs, with a certified guide and in suitable weather.
What is the White Ring?
A 22 km ski circuit through Lech, Zürs, Zug and Oberlech that returns to its starting point. It suits confident intermediates and above.
