Luxury Chalets in Bramberg am Wildkogel

A family-friendly Pinzgau village with its own gondola, relaxed skiing and the world's longest floodlit toboggan run.

Why Bramberg

Bramberg sits in the upper Pinzgau valley, opposite the Hohe Tauern. The Smaragdbahn gondola leaves from the village, so the slopes start close to your chalet. It suits families, beginners and groups who want an easy-going ski week without long transfers.

Skiing in the Wildkogel-Arena

The Smaragdbahn takes you to around 2,100 m into the Wildkogel-Arena, shared with neighbouring Neukirchen. The ski area is known for wide, well-groomed and family-friendly slopes, and the 14 km valley run back down to Bramberg is the longest in the area.

The world’s longest floodlit toboggan run

From the top of the Smaragdbahn, a 14 km toboggan run drops about 1,300 vertical metres to Bramberg. It is listed by Guinness as the longest floodlit toboggan run in the world and is lit in the evenings until 22:00. The descent takes 30 to 50 minutes.

Summer in Bramberg

In summer the Smaragdbahn carries walkers and mountain bikers up to panoramic trails and lakes on the Wildkogel. The Krimml Waterfalls and Hohe Tauern National Park are a short drive away. Summer stays run from two nights, with any arrival day.
