Skiing in the Silvretta Arena
The Silvretta Arena Ischgl/Samnaun offers 239 km of slopes and is Austria’s largest cross-border ski area. You can ski over the ridge into Samnaun in Switzerland, which is duty-free, and be back in Austria for the afternoon. Just make sure you catch the last lift home. For winter 2026/27 the season runs from 26 November 2026 to 2 May 2027, with the new Höllkarbahn chairlift opening on day one.
Top of the Mountain concerts 2026/27
Ischgl marks the season with open-air concerts, several of them at 2,300 m on the Idalp, billed as the largest open-air arena in the Alps.

Innsbruck airport is about 1 hour 30 minutes by car and Zurich about 2 hours 30 minutes. The nearest main railway station is Landeck-Zams. We arrange private transfers from all of them.
